After the 30-day Challenge, PGC participants were invited to apply for the Challenge Finals. Judged on an application (“final exam”), video recapping the personal transition from conventional to conscious, and full body of work from the month of green, twelve PGC Finalists were selected to participate in a two-day educational summit: Green University. Students had the opportunity to interact with and learn from esteemed eco leaders, present experiences from the 30-day Challenge, and work to create platforms to mobilize social action. These innovative campaigns will be implemented by Teens Turning Green and youth nationwide in 2012. A panel of judges named Raychel Santo as the Project Green Challenge Champion 2011. She received a one-of-a-kind prize package and the opportunity to work alongside other Challengers with Teens Turning Green and its partners in the coming year.
